Full Hookup Campsites
The Spring Mill State Park Campground offers nine full hookup (Class AA) campsites, namely sites 132, 134, 135, 136, 138, 140, 143, 144, and 145. These campsites are suitable for RVs, trailers, and tents, providing the necessary amenities for a comfortable camping experience.
Electric Campsites
At Spring Mill State Park, there are a total of 175 electric (Class A) campsites available for campers. Among these sites, eight are ADA accessible, designed to provide convenience and accessibility for individuals with disabilities. Additionally, the park offers 20 pull-through campsites, allowing for easier access and maneuverability for RVs and trailers. Whether you prefer electric hookups, require ADA accessibility, or seek the convenience of pull-through sites, Spring Mill State Park caters to a variety of camping needs.
Primitive Campsites
Exciting developments are underway at Spring Mill State Park! The existing 36 primitive (Class C) campsites are currently undergoing a conversion process to become full hookup campsites. This transformation aims to enhance the camping experience by providing campers with the convenience of full hookups for their RVs or trailers. The newly upgraded campsites are expected to be available for use in the spring of 2023, offering campers a wider range of options to choose from when planning their stay at Spring Mill State Park.
Youth Tent Camps
The Spring Mill State Park Campground caters to youth-based not-for-profit groups by providing three group Youth Tent Camps. These designated campsites are specifically designed for groups consisting of 10 or more campers under the age of 21, accompanied by their adult leaders. It is important to note that these campsites are exclusively available for youth-based not-for-profit groups, and proof of not-for-profit status must be presented upon arrival. Please keep in mind that these campsites are suitable for tent camping only, ensuring a rustic and immersive outdoor experience for the youth groups.
Camp store
The Camp Store at Spring Mill State Park Campground operates from mid-April through the end of October, offering campers a convenient source for firewood, food, and other camping essentials. While the specific hours of operation may vary based on staff availability, generally the Camp Store follows the following schedule:
Sunday to Thursday: 9 am – 5 pm
Friday to Saturday: 9 am – 8 pm
Please note that these hours are subject to change, and it's advisable to check for any updates or adjustments to the operating hours during your visit to ensure you can avail of the Camp Store's services at the campground.
Nightly Campsite Rates
The Spring Mill State Park Campground offers standard nightly camping rates during the period from late April to early November. For rates outside of these dates, it is recommended to contact Spring Mill State Park directly at (812) 849-3534 for accurate information. Additionally, rate details can be found online when making reservations through the park’s website.
It’s important to note that all guests visiting Spring Mill State Park, including campers, are required to pay a one-time entrance fee upon arrival. The fee covers access to the park and its amenities throughout your stay.

Vehicle:
The “one mode of transportation per site” rule at Spring Mill State Park campground is implemented with the intention of reducing congestion and prioritizing visitor safety. According to this rule, each campsite is allowed one designated mode of transportation. Any additional vehicles must be parked in the designated campground parking lots.
