Fort Harrison State Park Inn
Fort Harrison State Park is a 17,000-acre park located in Lawrence, Indiana. The park was created in 1995 when the State of Indiana acquired the historic buildings and land from Fort Benjamin Harrison, which had closed the previous year.
Features
The park features a 18-hole golf course, a restaurant, and a lodge that offers beautifully decorated rooms. Each room has a private bathroom, cable TV, air conditioning, hair dryer, coffee maker, iron, and ironing board. Upgraded rooms have a whirlpool tub and sofa bed. Suites include a living room, porch, and fireplace. Children of any age can stay at the Fort Harrison State Park inn, and children under 12 can use an existing bed free of charge. There are no cribs or extra beds available for rent.
The Garrison Restaurant at the inn offers free breakfast for guests, lunches specializing in Midwestern dishes, dinner on Friday and Saturday nights, and a delicious brunch that is a must-try on Sundays. There is also a menu for special days and holidays.
In addition to the lodge and restaurant, the park offers a variety of recreational activities, including horseback riding, fishing, hiking, golf, cycling, and more. There are also entertainment activities at the inn and in the park facilities.
